Opera 47 is a web browser developed by Opera Software ASA, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Opera was officially released on 2017-08-14 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Opera 47 is built using Chromium 60 rendering engine and has few performance improvements and nothing much on new features.

This edition has increased the no of recently closed tabs (from 10 tabs to 30), an useful improvement to recall recent browsing. Now Opera stores in a HTML file of everything including bookmarks bar, speed dial and other folders for easier backup and restoration of personal settings. 

Flickering images in YouTube videos while switching between tabs has been corrected in this edition resulting in a better Video Pop-up player. Dark theme has been fine tuned with respect to favicons for better viewing pleasure.
