Opera 36 is a web browser developed by Opera Software ASA, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Opera was officially released on 2016-03-15 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Opera 36 has been built on Chromium 49 rendering engine using JavaScript engine V8. This version is supported in Windows XP and later versions except Vista. 

This version is released with useful changes in the user interface area and important one is the easy to change the browser theme in the start page itself. Now the start page has been updated to replicate the bookmarks manager.  All other internal pages like bookmarks, browsing history and sync tabs can be accessed by navigating through icons in the start page.

Among the improvements, Opera running in Windows 10 systems have been optimized with better touch and tweaked interface. Now the internal pages get faster and stable transitions. Opera does not forget to put support for the latest Chromium  engine 49.
