Opera 2 is a web browser developed by Opera Software ASA, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. Opera 2.0 was a shareware release and first Browser to make browsing user friendly by adding sidebar and tab access to browse multiple websites concurrently.

While the Giants Internet Explorer & Netscape Navigators developed their browser only for Windows Operating System, Opera was interested to create a browser which support multiple operating systems like Apple Mac, QNX and BeOS. Their effort to commercialize their product did not go well as expected.
